ARDA World Convention in Las Vegas Hits the Global Jackpot
-An international focus attracts timeshare executives from around the world
WASHINGTON – ARDA World Convention is the premier opportunity for industry leaders to network, share insights, and discuss issues on a global basis with attendees from varying backgrounds and markets. The convention also provides prominent exposure for sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees among a diverse collection of over 3,000 industry players.
“As an industry, we need to step outside of our comfort zone to explore new ventures on the international stage,” said Howard Nusbaum, ARDA president and CEO. “This year’s ARDA World is a big leap forward, and I encourage everyone to make the time to attend this important learning and networking event.”
New to this year’s convention is the ARDA World mobile application, available for web-accessible and smart phones. Attendees not only have the convention schedule at their fingertips, but can customize their own schedule and get details and on presentations, speaker biographies, and exhibitor information. ARDA World will also feature interactive Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr walls throughout the convention space. Attendees can tweet their own convention experiences using the official hashtag #ARDAWorld.
This year’s keynote speaker, sponsored by RCI, is loyalty expert Frederick Reichheld. Mr. Reichheld is a Bain Fellow and founder of Bain & Company’s loyalty practice, which helps companies achieve results through customer and employee loyalty. He is also the creator of the Net Promoter system of management, and his work in the area of customer and employee retention has quantified the link between loyalty and profits. Comedian Tom Papa will entertain the attendees of this year’s Awards Gala, sponsored by Holiday Systems International. Awards finalists are listed at the Awards website, and winners will be announced at the elegant event.
Other popular convention sessions will include: “The View from the ‘Street’: Wall Street & Timeshare,” “Rescue Me! Models of Resale Relief and Regulatory Reform,” and—in keeping with the international theme of the event—at least seven international sessions. Additionally, the general sessions and one select session from each educational wave will feature simultaneous translation into Spanish and Portuguese.
Those who elect to stay at The Venetian under the ARDA Room block will save $250 USD on the registration rate if they book by March 1. Details are available at the hotel information page.
